Hell N' Back
A while ago this CD collection fell through my letterbox and as soon as i heard the first song i fell in love with it, this CD is Hell N' Back by Canada's The Brains, an awesome psychobilly punk rock threesome Now i was going to review this album track by track but it has 25 tacks on it so i decided just to pick the tracks i personally think are best, but believe me if you love psychobilly, punk rock or even rockabilly you will love this band and this CD Track one is a very strong track and i am sure 99.9% of you guys will love this track, its gotta be one of the best album openers ive heard in a long long time, the next track is Scream For Me, this song is a great singalong billy track with a cool country-like rhythm to it, it also ends with a cool mock news report about ZOMBIES!!!! which merges brilliantly into track 3, More Brains, which i can easily see being a fan fave at shows. Blood, track 5 is such a fun song that it would fit right in with bobby picketts monster party soundtrack, sat right alongside the monster mash and the munsters theme tune, next track Six Feet is just a perfect psychobilly song that once again i can guarantee will get you up and wrecking Hopefully that is enough to get your interests piqued and if not then look at the titles of the other songs to get you in the mood: No Brain, No Pain, Bones, 20 Beers, Dead Corpses and many more, As you may recall at the start of the review i called this a CD collection and that is because the first 12 tracks are studio recordings but the last 12 are all live recordings(and very good production i may add), the plus side being that no track is repeated So guys get out there a purchase The Brains 'Hell N' Back' and learn how to eat brains properly!!
